Patrick Fleming (Born Dublin Ireland 1964)
After backpacking around most of South America in 1989/1990, Patrick developed a great love of Latin American culture and its people.
In 1995 he opened “Venus and Bachus”, a small guest house and cafe in Banos,Ecuador. From 1998 to 2001 he lived in a Buddhist community in Merida,Venezuela.
Patrick came to Santa Marta, Colombia, in 2001 to plant trees and live in nature in the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta. “Finca Entre Rios” has been receiving guests and volunteers since 2005. In 2008 the next project presented itself . ALUNA,casa and cafe opened its doors in August 2009 and since then nearly 12,000 guests have stayed.
